Engines and drive mechanisms

We have developed an advanced engineering workshop that offers ideal conditions for the repair of engines and all associated systems including shafts, drive trains and generators. In addition to the engine testing basin we have high specification engineering lathes, engineering diagnostic systems to test rotational frequency, compression and ignition timings as well as a computer system for diagnosing electrical systems.

Our yard can also check and fix damaged propellers and evaluate the most appropriate propeller for your hull and engine type, thus maximising your hull and engine performance whilst reducing your fuel consumption.

We also offer the specialist installation of hydraulic equipment for bow thrusters and propulsion systems. Our yard not only has the skills but also the tools that enable us to plan and install all the equipment needed ensuring we cut the appropriate hole and implement the ideal bow thruster system. We will also replace the engine if you need a new one and repair the gearing if necessary.
