Boat and marine electronics

On most privately owned yachts the electronics are treated like the poor cousin, not only at construction but also during their service life. At Kuhnle Shipyard we do it differently. Our electronics are designed and installed to “industrial standards”.

A great example is the control panel of one of our Kormorans, no miscellaneous tangled wires but a neat and tidy wiring loom that follows a clear system that is easy to understand for everyone. Of course if there is still a problem, then glance at the extensive detailed circuit diagram. Frankly we are proud of our complex marine electrical installations which are known to be reliable and maintenance free. Not only do we install traditional electronics, we also install navigational and telecoms equipment as well as charging systems to enable you to be independent of shore supply. Sophisticated systems, like audio systems, echo sounder and fish finder are neither a problem. However the complex systems are often a safety risk. It is important to maintain these regularly. For the winters we have a battery storage room maximising the life of your batteries.
